First Year Cleveland Community Action Council Meeting

Be sure to join us Monday, January 11, at 11:30 a.m. for a presentation regarding our updated strategic plan. The Center for Achieving Equity consulting team and members of First Year Cleveland’s strategic design team will share proposed mission and vision statements, values, operating principles and strategic priorities, all informed by feedback from First Year Cleveland stakeholders.

This meeting will provide an opportunity for you to hear directly from our facilitators and strategic design team members about our proposed strategic direction, with additional opportunities for discussion. We encourage you to attend, as the new strategic plan will guide the important work of First Year Cleveland, and our ongoing efforts to decrease infant deaths and eliminate racial disparities, through 2023.

All concepts proposed by the design team will then be presented to our Executive Committee in mid-January for their review and approval.
